Kitchen Kashering ServicesShabbat & Holiday Logistics What Kitchen Items Can Be KasheredCounters & Sinks: What Can Be Kashered
Preparing a rental kitchen requires thorough cleaning followed by professional kashering of appliances and surfaces. Sinks, countertops, stovetops, and ovens are kashered using Hagalah (boiling water) or Libun (high heat), depending on the material and halachic requirements. KasherMyBnB specializes in kashering Airbnb and vacation rental kitchens so they are fully kosher-ready upon arrival.
The most reliable approach is to use a professional kashering service. Ovens typically require thorough cleaning (often with appropriate cleaning agents) and may require Libun, while sinks and many stone countertops can be kashered using Hagalah. This helps ensure halachic compliance and reduces the risk of damaging a modern kitchen. For a hassle-free kosher setup, many travelers choose KasherMyBnB to handle the entire process.
Pesach kashering involves intensive cleaning followed by boiling-water treatment or high-heat kashering, depending on the surface and halachic requirements. Appliances must be handled individually, and certain materials may require covering. KasherMyBnB offers a dedicated Pesach kashering service aligned with strict Mehadrin standards, including countertop and key-area covering when needed.
Airbnb (vacation) kashering is designed for short stays and focuses on making a temporary kitchen usable, practical, and reliably kosher. Vacation rental kitchens often lack essential items such as Shabbat candles, Havdalah candles, sufficient pots, or a new frying pan. Upon request (and subject to an additional fee), we can supply these missing essentials as part of the service.
Residential apartment kashering is intended for families moving into a new home or preparing their kitchen for long-term kosher use. We also kasher residential apartments for Pesach, as even kitchens that are kosher year-round require a separate, professional Pesach kashering process. We are here to support both short-term and long-term needs with professional, expert service.
